Thanks dude. In the end the only solution is to vote with your feet. Its very rare to be in a position where using the law results in you being a happy bunny.
Whilst I understand you learning from it and moving on, as to be honest your get out was lost the minute you took the bike away, I am rather disappointed you didn't name them only for the reason that if this happens to another, they could have been warned to do the checks before purchase rather than hear afterwards, "oh yeah he did it to me also but I didn't say anything or warn anyone." Your choice, I respect that but the dealer is never going to learn if no one makes public who the dealer is.
I never buy from dealers unless its new. Its all about numbers and not about customer. I just dont trust them.. seen and experienced and read and heard too many mishaps .. your bike is an emotional thing for them numbers..
