Amazon And Lies

  1. Definitely not a job for those with hypertension :astonished:

Hey, talking of deliveries, you’ll be delighted to learn I’ve been stung for £49 import duties for a pair of paddock chairs from Germany!!

    Brexit wankers!!!:mad::mad::mad:

  2. This is true, I think. The rounds seem pretty crazy, as well.

That does explain why there is no way that they can do an eight hour day! Ten or eleven is more realistic - while only paying them for eight!.

  3. Think they get paid per package, not per hour

  4. yes amazon flex is the contract & they earn plenty doing 30+ packages with a mileage add-on.

  5. I've got prime simply for the next day deliveries, TV and music are a bonus and rarely used TBH.

I have on one occasion have one delivery missed, I complained via the app stating that I'm paying for prime and I didn't receive the item the next day, they promptly gave me a £5 credit against my next purchase, nothing to them but it covered the cost of the item I'd ordered.

On another note, I did a contract for a well known UK delivery company. One of the guys I was working with had ordered something on-line to be delivered and when he got home there was a card through the letter box, he had ring cameras which clearly showed the driver (from the same delivery company we were working for) not even attempt a delivery, just got of his van, walked up the drive and put the card through his letter box.

Guy downloaded the video and sent it to the manager at the depot, you could clearly see the driver - he apparently has his pants royally pulled down.

  6. With the rise of on-line ordering, delivery driving is gonna be the next scam magnet. Cameras are now an essential add-on to a door bell. I've got RING cameras for keeping an eye on wildlife in my garden, but they have been darned useful for catching out dumb delivery drivers!

I've cancelled Prime and at the moment, Amazon don't care as to why. As they are normally top of the game, they are gonna get first that it is their delivery bods who let them down.

They must refund thousands every day coz of bad deliveries.

  7. I have to ask-do you get many badgers doing ‘knock down ginger...’?

  8. Never seen one - or a fox. I have a few bird feeders and they go down but my cameras rarely catch birds feeding. One feeder is about four feet from my front door. I opened my front door to do a meter read and they was a squirrel feeding off the bird feeder!

I am gonna look into a night camera (the RING ones light up, when they detect movement thereby scaring whatever it was away) as I am sure a lot of stuff goes on at night out there!

  9. I just had a WTF! moment when I opened an email from Amazon. Coz they know that I've quit Amazon Prime, they are out for revenge...

I clicked on the link and feck knows what crap they are going to send me next - or it is not revenge and they have got me down as a gay male...

  10. Isn't it awful. There are now so many people claiming that they have never received their parcels and blaming the delivery guys, that drivers are forced to take our pics to avoid blame.

  12. My way of dealing with this is not to use A. I know of no other solution.

Interested to see how they deal with me. Will they treat me like a customer, or a delivery driver? But I don't really care, although I would like to keep the TV package. Dunno if you can get the TV package without any of the other crap.

  13. Yes you can only watch the TV programing, and never use the delivery service/ shopping -its the same price!

  14. I was hoping for discount if I cut out the crap!
