So I’ve noticed my rear drive train needed some tlc. So a ducabike purchase later and I’m stripping the sprocket carrier etc… to polish all nuts a bolts from sprocket carrier. However on removal of the renthal quick change sprocket carrier, the Cush drives fell out. Which I mean is great for removal but how loose is too loose. I mean other than looking dirty, the rubber still looks good. Any advice?
They fell out of my JT carrier too, there is nothing there to hold them at the front of the carrier until you fit the flange. It's not like the rubber can expand the metal it's held it. I happened to be fitting a new carrier and new cush drives and they were still able to fall out of the new one. They weren't quite as loose and once I cleaned up the old carrier you could see some slight wear on the surfaces.
