1200 Another Fuel Sensor

  1. Mine has just gone on my DVT at 3600 miles. Initial symptoms were the bars not registering full for about 30 mins after brimming the tank. Now it drops fast and the light comes on at 80 miles. It's booked in for a replacement. Yawn. Should be a simple enough thing to get right.

Not defending Ducati, but my BMW GS 1200 was on its 2nd gearbox by the same mileage.

  2. But I bet your fual gauge worked just fine. How about they come together to form a union of manufacturers so we can get bikes where every aspect works [emoji23]

  3. This does seem rather basic, and must be costing Ducati a small fortune in warranty claims. Mine is being replaced next week, after a grand total of around 7500 miles at first signs of failure. Thank goodness the trip counter works ok! I'm doing a 160 mile trip on Saturday morning... I'll no doubt fill up around 130 miles, just in case.
