Invaluable for those who are hard of thinking I would imagine. It must be horrible when those long-held but palpably erroneous convictions are challenged. You'll get over it though.
That was a deliberate rebuff to someone who revels in both things and I make no apologies for it. Elsewhere and to everyone else I have been polite but assertive. After all, what the use of having views if you're not prepared to defend them - and admit that you've made a mistake if you are presented with the evidence to prove it oI f course.

Ask Cranky. He always ups the ante for no apparent reason. I thought it was all rather informative but he obviously wants the thread closed.
You don't know me and no one asked for your opinion of me anyway. This is a forum for ideas not insulting people whose opinions you don't agree with. You need to grow up pal.
That's rich given your endless jibes about the 'hard of thinking'. It's a one way street with you isn't it?!
Hard of thinking is not a personal insult directed at anyone in particular: it's intended to make unspecified people reassess their thought processes before posting. But if the cap fits, people will assume it's directed at them. Not my problem.
You have a point. But I tried that and got suspended, so passive-aggressive, oblique insults that require their target to assume a level of culpability for them are all that are open to me now!
