  3. Had an sp1 and sp2, heavy bike but fantastic handling and doesn’t feel heavy on the go, stunning bikes...can’t offer any constructive input other than don’t sell it anytime soon as they are going up, sp2 swingarm also looks better

  4. Cheers well spotted on the swing arm , yes proper bit of kit , the exhausts are nice on this I’ve never seen the same arrow exhausts , the pipe bit looks like titanium I don’t know whether it is but it’s that dull grey colour

  5. Big n heavy. Don't like direction changes, have to put big inputs to shift it. Holds big lines well.

    Get suspension and feuling sorted.

  6. To be honest I didn’t notice it had the sp2 arm on, but yep looks ace.

  7. Mine had a Harris/Öhlins steering damper to help head shake.

  8. I had a sp1 it took a while to sort the suspension heavy thing looks and sounds awesome still think the 916 / 996 were better bikes

  9. The SP2 came and went.. the 998 has stayed for 14 years.

Good to scratch the itch tho..

  10. I have a 4K mile , 2 owner immaculate sp1 sat in my hallway
Absolutely love just looking at it , intend to do a couple of hundred miles on it in the summer

  11. I think Hondajust missed the mark by not adopting demodromic valve timing ;)

  12. At least they have gear driven cams not belts that need replacing every 2 years.
    Pros and cons.
TBH I couldn't decide which one I like more 998s or SP2..so will keep both. :)

  15. I always wondered why Honda did the radiator on the side of the bike rather than the front , there was an sp1 on eBay other day with 116,000 miles on it and still going strong
