Every time I've had any dealings with Russia or Russian's I've got the distinct impression they trust noone.....probably for good reason. As a result I don't trust them either. They are happy to lie to your face without any hint of embarrassment in my experience. Just leave well alone
hahaha. never understood that hatred towards russia and russians. same people who will have a go at you for suggesting that SOME (not ALL) of the 18-38 YO muslim men migrating to Europe are not super good will happily brand ALL of the russian very bad, lying, not trustworthy , violent and so on... how does that work??? dont know about now , but back in 1990th most of the western companies trading in russia worked in high risk industries and were making extremely large amounts of money in very short periods of time. TAX FREE. no wonder they attracted certain types of people hanging around them and wanting slice of the action. British population of Moscow ALONE back in mid 90's was 40k upwards. most made fortunes there, some died. thats how it worked. everyone knew and were happy to go anyway. by the way - person in question in OP's post is English and not Russian. plenty of them about , ive met few, hence me asking his name.
Yev, I`ve told the guy I`m not passing on any of the details he requested but that I`m quite happy to deal with him as with any other customer about whom I know nothing so pro forma basis only. He is currently saying he intends to do this so I`m not going to give his name out . I would not list any other customer details on a public forum so it would be wrong to do so on this occasion . I was only asking general questions about trading in Russia and nothing specific about this particular customer.
