Anyone Ever Shipped Bikes And Possessions To Nz?

  2. the lads at work brought all their stuff back from Canada recently. a whole flats worth plus large tool chests. it cost them 3k plus insurance. they just contacted a local removal company and they dealt with all the paperwork.

  3. I know Australia are funny about importing vehicles, have to be scrupulously clean so as not to contaminate the ecosystem, that may be the same in NZ so buy a jetwasher :D

  5. @chizel I'm dying of the flu at the moment.... Oxygen is about 70% saturated and for me that's lower than even my low.
    So tomorrow is off....
    I could do what I did for a mate in South Africa....
    I sent his bike to him bit by bit...
    The reasons for doing so was more the limit on bike imports, but it may work out cheaper...
    And you can buy/rent a sealed 20' container for shipping back to Oz.
    You should be able to get it all in there... take a saw, loads of wood and pack it yerself!
