1200 DVT Anyone Fitted A Pikes Peak Screen With Jamie Clare’s Spacers?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Sam1199, Oct 7, 2021.

  1. Is it a straight fit or do you have to drill the holes out?

I’ve drilled out other screens to take the rubber grommets but hopefully won’t have to with the carbon screen.

    Anyone fitted the combination?

  2. I didn't drill out the screen, I removed the upper part of the spacer as I figured the spacers were the cheaper item. :)

  3. Ah, good idea

  4. Untitled.jpg yup ... have mounted Pikes Peak screens on both my 1200s and now my 1260s using Jamie's Iconic Parts screen spacers.

straight fit for the Pikes Peak screen with the smaller mounting holes ... just make certain to order the appropriate spacers from Iconic Parts, as they make two styles for each of the different model year fitments ...

for me, these are brilliant solutions to the wind buffeting issue.

  5. Yes I have them fitted also
Better but not perfect for me, but I think we all view the screen wind buffering and noise differently

  6. Depends on proximity to sea level and sausage fondness.
