I am looking into the possibility of parting with both my 05 ST4s and 09 Harley XR1200 and replacing them with one new Multistrada1200. Anybody interested send me a PM.
I can add that nothingbettertodo's ST4S is the cleanest one i think you will find anywhere. What are you going to do with the Trumpet if you are after a multi now dude ?
Its been on ebay for about a week, its just down the road from me. he is asking top money for it, no panniers.
Keeping the Explorer as it really is the best mile muncher I have ever ridden. Just back from a brilliant 2600 mile tour around the Austrian/German/Italian Alps. I really don't want to be without a Ducati in my life but my body is telling me that the ST is too sporty/cramped and these old bones cope better with the 'Gentlemans' riding position provided by the Mutley and Explorer.
Not mine. Mine has everything plus spares and comprehensive service record. Just serviced at MD Racing, new chain and sprockets, new tyres and only came up with the idea today!!

Wish I'd known about this forum when I was looking for my ST, don't get me wrong, I'm really happy with it, would have loved a red one but the silver was a close second. Now need to find a good local workshop to carry out my servicing as I've not got a garage, a set of throw overs, as I've taken the hard panniers off and put a Givi rack and top box on, and then sort out some form of man cave to keep her dry and warm!
How's the restoration project going? Have you got your ST back up and running now that Summer is finally upon us?!!!
Oh yes indeed, was at Duxford yesterday on it and the weekend at the cadwell british supers meeting. Even nearly had a ticket on the A1 following a rapid Multi and Aprilia the other week. Rozzers pulled alongside me at speed and waved me to back it off slightly. Restored my faith somewhat actually. Which one are you keeping ?
