  1. He couldn't, was evident from the Discovery+ slo-mo's from various angles .... I think it was 70/30 Pecco's doing

  2. Pecco had the eyes here. He should have anticipated the danger and yielded a tad. There was plenty of time to pick AM off.

  3. Agree. Poor decision to try there especially given he wasn’t going to catch the next bike up the road from AM.

  4. Pleased it is not just me thinking Baggy could have avoided the incident more easily than Alex.
Got the idea that Baggy realised he had the pace to close up on Martin if he could pass 73…and rushed his chance on that corner. Rash tbh and who knows, might even cost him the championship.

  5. Whether he was wrong or not he’s had the good grace to apologise in front of the world knowing he’ll get stick whatever he does.
Imagine if some of our politicians had that much decency/humility...

  6. On a side note I’ve just seen someone call him Fbag on face aids and I might have to adopt it.
    More to come…

  7. It’s kinda a half apology though isn’t it? Sorry I said you deliberately crashed into me but it was still your fault.

  8. Compare when Baggy crashed into Marquez last year. MM said afterwards it was a racing incident when clearly Baggy was at fault. That was real class.

  9. Should have opened this weeks misano thread with this bombshell news really shouldn’t we :joy:

  10. Just catching up on last weekends race. Irrespective of who was at fault (AM?) surprised there has been no mention of what looked to be the agro making the crash potentially far more dangerous than it needed to be? It looked to me like AM’s bike hooked up to the back on PB’s bike, those huge aero hoops on the front faring hooking onto the fins on the tail unit?

Had the accident proved more serious or potentially fatal I could see all forms of aero being banned?

  11. Just an unlucky incident (rarely, if ever, seen before) and they won’t ban aero they’re struggling to get ride height devices banned.

I have no evidence of this but I would imagine aero actually makes those bikes safer to ride not the opposite too.

Pecco doesn’t do shit crashes though does he. Last year someone rode over his legs and this year a bike used him as a surf board.

Lucky man to be able to bounce back after both of those!
