TV rights get a say in riders on the grid, I think. French Tv insist on two french riders which is why we have Zarco and Fabio. If you pay enough money into the pot, then you have some sway.
Been thinking about this a bit since the weekend and I don’t ever see how it can work. For eg what happens if it stays as tight as it is when they roll into Valencia and bastianini who’s also off at year end looks like he could be the spanner in Peccos works. They can’t possibly turn his settings down on the factory bike. Would be a complete mess and impossible to keep under cover. And if they had the ability to turn a certain riders “settings up” why haven’t they done it yet?
Yeh they'll continue development just not with Pramac, dont know when those parts would be available to presumably Pecco and sadly now, 93 though. Ducati have shot themselves in the arse the more you look at it really.
Yeah letting Martin and The beast go is crazy to me. The beast was injured a lot last year and hasnt had a chance to shine in a full season i don't think.
Ideal scenario would be Pecco wins number three this year, Aprilia drastically catch up during off season and Bez and the beast wallop them next year. Cant see it happening right now mind.
