From what I’ve read the Honda deal includes moto gp tests . I hope it does anyway, otherwise it makes no sense whatsoever!
It’s dire. You only have to look at the empty seats in stands that were packed full a few years ago for confirmation. On the plus side the moto 3 race should be epic tomorrow.
I don’t even know what the answer to it is tbh. Everyone always bangs on about how RHDs or aero or TC are “ruining it” but everyone’s got the same tech available to them. We’re probably just at one of those one points in history we have to endure, where it’s just become a one man series and wait for it to pass. Thanks for that Gigi etc… Kind of funny/ironic how all the old aliens are there this weekend too (Casey Jorge VR and wee Dani), must be a tough watch for them too.
When you’re reduced to looking forward to the moto 3 more than the main race what’s the point? Genuine question. *Maybe that’s the answer Even with your 93 tinted specs on you have to admit it’s at an all time low? And if not explain the empty seats every single round. When rosssi retried and 93 was injured we were told it’s cos there’s no aliens etc… Most people know what they want to watch and invest their time in and moto gp is failing right now.
That’s just bollocks. I have no favourite riders in MotoGP. And I loved VR46. But MM93 is in a class of one. There is no disputing his dominance so don’t confuse that with him being my “favourite”. Of course I would love to see close, exciting racing. Who wouldn’t? But, with his skill on the best bike I can’t see that happening for a while. And, imho, he is actually getting even better tactically. Just learn to marvel is his mastery. You will someday find inner peace. Or not.
Ok I’ll re phrase at what point can we get back to close racing and it not being a one rider and manufacturer championship? Right now 93 in the history books is as the third best rider ever. Fantastic and I’m sure that will change at some point (although you never know). You’ve literally said to me he’s the greatest ever suck it up and enjoy it. Well I’m not and neither are a lot of others going on attendances. How would you change that?
For ever the best rider has eventually ended up on the most competitive machine. And enjoyed a period of dominance. Who is the Goat Is entirely subjective. My opinion is that it’s Marquez. There is no answer to your question without introducing daft rule changes.
