Performance of the weekend for me has to be…… Sylvain Guintoli ….Consummate professional and all round great guy.
Quite staggering, but clearly what he feels he needs to be doing at this sad time. You can see the fondness between him and Suzy & Hodgy. I’m welling up thinking about what he and his family have been/are going through.
Tremendous stuff, thoroughly enjoyed that, however I cannot wait for the day someone elbows David Munoz into the gravel the dangerous little shit weasel Lonely race for Ogden and COG.
This bugs the absolute shit out of me too. Joe Roberts v Jake Dixon in numbers. Guess which one is still in moto 2 next year and STILL talking about a moto gp ride lol.
This season has been dire, and I am a bit of a die hard motogp fan. Not having Martin battling at the front has been a huge loss, but Marquez gelling with the best bike on the grid has made it a none event. Yesterdays motogp.com coverage was annoying too. MM crosses the line first, then we got close ups of MM, MM, feking more MM. Didnt even see Bez come over the line, top 2 or 3. Then just focus on Marc, great ride again, but not balanced coverage. Bit annoying that the commentators seem to jack off over him all of the time. Got to hope that the rule changes improve the racing. As to next year, got to hope Martin and Acosta can take it to the man. Baggy trousers? Wtf…do riders make their own luck? , because that sprint was a disaster.
As to why? Surely the tyre pressure rule is playing a big part too. I would love a good explanation as to why they do not all start with the same (or minimum) tyre pressure on the grid. Job done imo.
I make that 20 out of 26 races won by the same rider so far this season. What kind of sport is that haha. So unhealthy and no wonder it was half empty, and will only get worse next season. Although don’t tell that fat pudding Gav who completely skirted round the reason while he was gasping at all the empty seats. Dire, on and off track.
Not what I am saying. But elsewhere on the track, where is the overtaking and close racing? Almost as if 1 maybe 2 laps in, it is settled. Unless a rider runs in to grip issues. As to MM, really this season the rest of them are racing for 2nd place.
I will have to take your word on that (even though the time sheets suggest otherwise), glad you enjoyed it though
Just been looking at the standings while I sup my pint at the pub and they paint an even unhealthier picture tbh. Marquez is nearly 300 points ahead of Acosta and were not even in September. I can’t believe people think he’s the next version of donkey gob. Pecco who’s had the season from absolute hell is still 50 points ahead of 4th. Only Spanish and Italian riders make up the top 8.
Yup, it's a shitshow indeed and the most boring year in a very very long time / ever?... So boring I can't be arsed with watching live anymore and just FF through the replay when I get around to it, to catch the highlights. Total fcuking yawnfest. I blame the TV Director / IPF Director though (Enrique Aguilar), bet there's some great stuff going on down the pack but it's rarely shown coz he's got MM93's jizz down his chin.
This has blown my mind https://www.gpone.com/en/2025/08/17...gnaia-underwhelming-a-wasted-opportunity.html Never won a championship, barely had a moto 2 record of note and suddenly he’s the future after one race. Something serious has gone on between Ducati and Pecco behind the scenes imo and they’re playing us all for idiots.
You have to wonder if it’s something to do with JM winning on a satellite bike last year and there’s some kind of petty Italian style retribution going on now.
