Hi Sev, that's how I read it. CT has got a sophisticated set up and a substantial customer base in the Motorsport world. Defiantly high end.
I once needed carbon version of gsxr1000 k5 bsb kit and as could not find one after 4 years of looking, I asked Nick at 666 Carbon(Do The bsb and wsbk kits and moved to F1 NOW) Even at so called "mates rates" he said to make a mould kit from my fibreglass front bsb bodykit he would need £2000 I bought his old troy corser s1000rr+hm plant blade+BB R1 moulds because I thought I could do it myself, gave up after trying just to do one part myself, nevermind mudgaurds, ram air pipes and engine covers. Still got the s1000rr and Hm plant moulds, got a guy interested in them. Cost me £2000 for the 2 used kits off nick and £2000 for the BB R1 Kit with self supporting subframe/seatunit setup.
if you have the moulds the videos on easy composites should help you. You just need to sit down with someone who knows how. once you've done your first one it'll be easy. As for the structural seat - did he give you the layup he was using also? As with structural composites its the layup that's critical, otherwise all that happens is you go down the biota route and make them about 5mm thick, which is a bit rubbish.
He came up for 3 days and tried his best to show me how. He did not have the cut templates anymore, which would made it alot easier I would of thought? The BB R1 Moulds I sold a few months later to a guy who raced a Tricked up BB R1 and he gave to a company and had them make a few kits for him as spares because Nick charged £4k+ for a full kit with all the covers, inner panels, seatunit/subframe, motec dash bracket+++ They just been sat in shed since end 2012, and just yesterday had a guy contact through my 12m old add selling the other 2 mould kits. Has offered me £1500 for both kits, which happy to take, so once he comes up and is happy with them, hopefully deal will be done and will pay off some of my loan
