  1. For me it's any Stranglers gig when Hugh was still with them, those where the days.

  2. Motorhead! Malvern winter gardens 1986.. Still got tinnitus

  3. There have been very many concerts and very many excellent ones. Some of the complete standouts have been.

    The Who/AC-DC/Stranglers/Nils Logren - Wembley stadium 1979
The Floyd twice in Lausanne (1989 and 92?)
Talking Heads - Empire Pool Wembley 1982

My first gig was Barclay James Harvest, Oxford '75 and that made a big impression. And then I'd get excited about Camel gigs from the same era.

Saw Blondie twice at Hammersmith (I suspect 78 and 79). Staring at Debbie Harry for 2 hours - what's not to like?

  4. seen them, was very loud and had a high pitched noise in my ears for days, so much so i got tugged by the old bill for speeding on way home and only stopped eventually because of the blue lights, much to there annoyance, no idea what kind of telling of they where giving me, but let me off, was ok, never again though, iron maiden & judas preist where awesome though, like some others, the who, stranglers and blondie was good ; )

  5. Correct. She was rather well endowed :upyeah:

  6. One of the best gig's I went to was Slade in the mid 80's, in a small pub (shoulder of mutton @ Hardstoff near Chesterfield) the atmosphere inside was awesome

  7. There's been loads of good ones but a couple that stand out:
Rolling Stones - Voodoo Lounge tour - absolutely loved it
Guns n Roses in about 90 at Wembley - couldn't believe I was there!

Another one that really surprised me was Phil Hilborne playing in a shyte-hole pub near Billericay in 89. Much lower key than some gigs, but an outstanding guitarist.
