  7. I've made an executive decision. Fuck working on Saturday. Might even be a real devil and stay off till Monday. Forecast is fine. Cloudy but dry and 2 degrees, which is perfectly manageable for an Anglo Saxon with gloves and a vest, so I'm off out on the bike.
    Will probably end up at West Bay for chips, coffee and a blast of coastal ozone some time early afternoon if anyone cares to join me. Big gay poofs huddled in front of the radiator whimpering and waiting for August need not apply.

  8. Good effort but a radiator combined with a pub sound like a much better idea to me... :D

  10. It's been a cracking day today easily reaching double figures which was a bit uncomfortable at times as I'm going with the old saying
    'never cast a clout 'til the May is out'
    so still sporting thermal undergarments!

  13. I haven't been definitively away, just doing other things.
    I may re-engage now that the Moto GP season is back underway.
    Politics-wise, there is nothing to say about Trump that isn't obvious, Brexit is depressing, global warming hasn't gone away but the same people refuse to see it, the civil war in Syria still goes on, and the British government is consistently exasperating, but seeing as I don't live there...

    We even got embarrassed in the cricket again (real cricket, not the short format stuff).

  18. @Birdie , I never thought I would, but today I finally understand your predicament with the weather!! Today at 11.57, we had 11 minutes of the white stuff followed by some light rain. There are puddles on the drive and I even had to put my wipers on driving to get the papers. I now feel your pain Stevo :(:worried:
