Big Decision. 1000ssie Ds

  1. I'm still pondering this, but because I'm not going to get time to start swapping the bodywork over for a couple of weeks, and it looks like a project 999 isn't something that's readily available, I'm going to say that the 1000SS is for sale, but I'm not desperate to sell it, and it will only be available for a couple of weeks or so, after which I'll start the project.

At the moment it starts on the button, rides really nicely, and the only real issue is the TPS needing to be reset each time the battery is disconnected. But that's easy with a £15 cable and free software.
It has a small scratch on the Right hand lower fairing, and I'd rather put the standard front mudguard and exhausts back on it to sell it.

I've tested the water and been offered between £2800 and £3000 for it by dealers over the phone as a part exchange in completely standard form.

So bearing all that in mind, I'll put the standard Exhausts and Front guard back on it, get some images and say it's £4500.
Which is about right for the very few that I've been able to find for sale worldwide, and it's low mileage of @11K
I can't find another for sale in the UK at the moment.
