I have it on reliable authority that the Bristol event is no more and there is little prospect of it being revived any time soon. It would appear that (amongst other factors) the council's priorities lie elsewhere for the foreseeable future and as they are a critical player because streets have to be closed, the event in it's familiar form cannot continue. A real pity, because it was a great event and presumably brought significant extra revenue into the city for the weekend. There are Italian events in Bridgenorth & at Brands Hatch later in the year though.
