Is it just me or has anyone else been told that they're using an out of date browser and that they should upgrade or use another browser?
I can't see this being the problem https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/new-server-management-company.57883/#post-1067131
I think it's Internet Explorer. Is this coming from the Forum or an outside source? I'm not "au fait " with 'puters... It was all working OK when I logged out about 1 o/c this morning.
Quite possibly it could be a minor browser hijack or redirection. I pick up loads of various tools that attempt to attack my browser or redirect it. A common problem these days as I use the internet a lot. I use Spyhunter, which does need paying for by subscription, but it works for me, to get rid of all the rubbish although in itself is considered to be something of a hijacking tool, which from my experience it isn't. Google Chrome or Firefox are much better for me and i use Firefox most of the time. Finally your internet explorer could actually be out of date, I think the latest is IE11 which comes bundled with Windows 10 but is available for older operating systems.
The OP is probably using XP and IE8. In which case, everything is working as expected, D-Dad. If you don't like getting that message, it's time to update that old IBM 386 you're using. : o )
Try the new browser from Microsoft called Internet Explorer 3. You won't be disappointed. It will be the end of bulletin boards for sure!
We are expecting useful programmes that run in OS/2 any day now. I am holding out for a new graphical interface for DR-DOS, though. Nothing but the best for me!
And back at you. My compliments on your forward planning. Will there ever be anything more satisfying than a good token ring with some quality coax and dependable t-piece terminators? I think not.
I thought you were a purist, like me. Just shows, you can be so wrong about a person. Do what you wish, I trubba not.
