Bsb Cadwell (spoilers)

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by Adam Bell, Aug 23, 2024.

  1. BSB this weekend at Cadwell. always good to watch. i will be watching closely this weekend with me doing my first track day there in 2 weeks time.

Jack Kennedy for Super Sport is an easy pick.

Would like to see Iddon do well this weekend.

  2. Forecast is wet Saturday and windy Sunday. Monday is the best day.
Live less than an hour away so going Sunday as it gets a bit crowded on Monday and I don't fancy getting up at 6am to beat the queues.
No preferences or predictions, just happy to see some good qualifying action and racing.

  3. Bridewell will win and I’ll have the hump I’ve wasted a day watching bikes go round in single file again :)

  4. The most spectacular and boring racing of the year. Barely passes after first lap or two and one line everywhere. Still love it tho for that occasional mad man who goes for it….

  5. Ace track. You will love it.

  6. Said with a smile - maybe do your 20th track day at Cadwell, then closely watching what the BSB lot do as they ride round will make more sense!
It’s an excellent riders circuit - I first raced there in ‘92 and still get “that feeling” every time I get the chance to go back and wobble round. It never gets old. Enjoy.

  7. What’s the crack with Honda and bsb as in why are they enjoying such success whereas they’re on their arses in wsb (and mgp)?

Be funny if they gave bridewell a MGP test/wildcard if he wins the title.

  8. Redding trackside and Whitman talking about rumours BMW are about to stick some factory support into BSB….

    Vickers…… :bomb::bomb::sun:

Ryde showing his talent agin but you can’t look past Vridewell as clear favourite for the time again this year

  9. Reddings definitely coming back to these shores next year absolute typical PR exercise.
You can’t help but feel Kyle is going to flap it at some point too, as much as I’d like to see him win the title.

  10. To be fair he fairly regularly shows up at meetings, so it's not a definite indicator.

Looks like either Tommy or Kyle now in all likelihood, but there are 3 more meetings to go so we'll see.

  11. Vickers looked like a crash waiting to happen to me after the way he started. Like the coms said I think he wanted to probe a point

  12. Yeah Redding being there wasn't too much to read into. i can see him in WSBK on a private Ducati while BMW wind down his contract. don't see him in BSB again.

  13. Pity A.Irwin didn't turn up, Vickers in r3 was electric until it ended in tears. Superstock was the highlight IMO. Can't help but like Davey Todd.
