Business Rates Refund

  1. I will be broaching this with my accountant as soon as the money lands!
I think there's an influx of companies doing this at the moment as the rules change early next year, meaning claims of back dated overpayment are no longer available.

  2. Luckily ours are 0 as the shop is empty

Mind you don’t think anyone pays anything much - I think ours should be £2500 year

One day I will open the shop when I’ve decided what to sell :sigh:

  3. I don't pay business rates on the basis I don't have my own business! I do have an accountant ( the wife) she's an absolute genius with interest and manipulating money for return. It's amazing how much can be earned by being prudent and spending a little time moving stuff around. Dabbling with some pier to pier lending now too

  4. You don't pay business rates for running a farm either. - Yet!
