I think the title of this thread is wrong.Most of these so called 'Cafe racers' would spend most time posing outside a coffee shop than racing from cafe to cafe.Sticking a fairing on the front of an old Ducati does not make it a 'Cafe racer' or a work of art. Call them what they are 'Converted road bikes',some are quite good looking,some not quite so good,some have got some lovely engineering,some are a bit wanting.However if the owner/'builder is pleased with their creation that is all that matters.
