The problem for Cal at Yamaha is, he's their number 4 rider at the moment. By the time an opening in the factory team (when Rossi retires) comes along, there'll be other nippers after the ride (I'd be looking at Maverick ViƱales for the future). If Cal went to Ducat, what's the worst he can do? Match Rossi's efforts? I'm sure his riding style would suit the bike more than Rossi's... wring it's neck Cal!
The ducati only works with the flat track style rider on board. Stoner and hayden both grew up on these tracks rossi failed to master This style and even built his own track to master it so imho only aussies and yanks Will master the duke but in haydens case he treats his ride as a job which pays well.
I wanna see what the rulebook brings for next season. As it stands I reckon it would be a bad move for Cal, but a change of rules could make all the difference.
Not quite. Maybe a bloke who's been in a pub................ Some riders use modern forms of messaging quite a bit. And reading some of the more informed articles from journalists with intregrity is very eye opening. Forums are fun, and a few people on here make informed comments.
