  1. £1,000 is what I paid for mine, ie: half the new price.

    I’m very happy with it so far, although I don’t use it exactly as intended in that I don’t bother raising and lowering it when loading the bike and I just use a ramp instead. Tbh, I found that a bit of a faff, and it could be difficult to slot the wheels back in, especially if parked on a camber because no matter how high I raised the platform, it would tip in the direction of the kerb which then wouldn’t leave enough space to get the wheel and its assembly underneath. However, I wanted the trailer primarily because it is transverse and because it doesn’t jackknife when reversing, so it’s no biggie

    Edit: I just had another look at the photos he posted and one of them shows it with a ramp offered up to the platform, so it looks as if he arrived at the same conclusion. It might also explain why he’s only used it twice.
