Discussion in 'Insurance - Sponsored by Ducati Insurance' started by TopiToo, Mar 1, 2019.

  1. Hi,

Just a quick question, I have had a few quotes for car and trailer
breakdown cover and all is good until they tell me if the bike is on
the trailer its not covered :worried:.

Any recommendations for all three please.

    kind regards

  4. To be honest I'd never thought about this and would have preferred if you hadn't put this in my head.

  5. Hi Cream_Revenge,

I have been insuring my car and trailer for years,
but last year moved to RAC and at the recent renewal
asked this question, only tobe told No the bike is not
insured as its second vehicle. (ie road worthy)
So I asked the question if I take the front wheel off
the bike is it insured as part of the trailer? :D
Emmmm could not get an answer.

  6. Crazy. What if it's not road legal (track bike)?

AA is the person not the vehicle so surely it won't matter????

  7. Hi Cream_Revenge,

will look into this further and report back.

  8. My AA comes with my Halifax bank account with a few other bits for £15 a month. It says "customer covered, not the vehicle".
