An interesting point. When I kitted out the GS for my big tour, I didn't bother with carbon as I thought, meh, its only a beemer and won't save much weight after all. My monster was covered in it and I'm already thinking about the V4. Definitely a Ducatisti thing
I would like to know too. I would have loved a forged carbon exhaust cover, ala Huracan Peformante, but noone seems to offer it.

Interesting. So, chopped carbon strands as opposed to woven cloth combined with a resin that cures in 3 min. No question it's fit for purpose if Boeing use it on their planes, though not sure about how the term 'forging' applies to this process. Presumably, being chopped strand, you wouldn't get the weave appearance, though.
