Yep....not everyone on here can say they were leading Foggy into Russells  He thumped me afterwards for getting in his way
I've met Foggy quite a few times over the years and found him to be very abrupt, disinterested, etc. Having read his autobiography and seen the videos, etc, it was easy to build up a picture based on how he came across. However, we did the Foggy & Whit tour thing earlier this year, and I ended up in a curry house with Carl and Jim chatting like blokes do. Carl really seems to have changed over the last few years (maybe as Imola says above) and even he acknowledges now that he could be a bit of a cnut at times. He says that it was what he needed to do to win ... and win he did!
I like foggy I found him very nice he thought I was strange wanting ducbird on my seat cowl when he signed it for me Foggy and whit on tour I enjoyed too
Met him a few times and not once has he ever asked for my signature, so I just repay the compliment. We have a mutual understanding.... I think
Foggy and Whit was good . James W was very funny ... I'm a huge Barry Sheene fan. Who couldn't like him really .
Re Foggy, I remember some magazine spent a race weekend with him and the team. After the first race, Foggy comes second and storms into the pit in a rage. The journalist inadvisably asked him what was the matter. "I came second, didn't I?" he shouted at him. Then shut himself up in his motorhome. Lightening up was clearly not a Foggy thing to do. Never met him, so that's about as much as I "know" about him. It doesn't sound promising.
