Samieb, The so called subframes design is flawed and ducati know it!! They suffer from designer's dream and Engineers nightmare
Donny 1994 Foggy on the new untested 916 which was basically a road bike. First race first win and it dominated all class's.
Well I can't see Phillip Morris continuing to bankroll Ducati MGP embarrassing efforts tbh. If Rossi leaves he may take this sponsorship with him to a private team. I applaud Ducati for trying innovative ideas, but there has to be a stop point, when you return to what's been successful and start again with the CAD PC. Far too many changes from what made an MGP Ducati successful and work from 2006/7. Alot of us complained about 'Moaning Stoner' but there could just possibly be a large amount of truth in what he said about Ducati's MGP project year in, year out and maybe hitting a brick wall is what forced him elsewhere?
Anth shhh or they will notice!!!! We on MGP, soon move to which colour is faster then back to MGP and Rossi should/is leaving. Finally we would end up with best CS vs VR.
Checa stayed for 2012 WSB @ Althea, because Ducati intervened. It's my belief that Carlos is using the same tatics again to get Ducati's full commitment. However with Bayliss as the test/ development rider leaving (allegedly) then Carlos has many concerns with the 1199.
Duc isn't getting worse, the competition is getting a lot better.. never in the history of WSBK has the competion been fearser... BMW does not come to any race not to win.. more money is thrown in, better riders get on better bikes and getting better results... electonics now rule.. and all F0-teams can get to that.. Honda, Kawa, Yam, Aprilia and BMW now can all beat Ducati... it is only Honda and Yam that have factory bikes in GP... Apilia used to, dropped it, focused on WSBK an won! Kawa stopped, focused on WSBK and starts winning all the QP's.. Ducati has a dud in GP and does not focus on it's core market: WSBK... so :do not expect the pani to blow the competition away... those days are gone... grtz
