  5. Did you get new bolts for the caliper mounts and disk mounts or are they originals re-plated with yellow zinc?

  6. They are replated, but in honesty they are some of the best plating I’ve seen. So close to original

  10. Thought they would be.

  11. who did you use to do the replating?

  12. Hi Guys, great thread here. My Goldlines are in a poor state, and the previous owner decided to paint the calliper bolt heads that hold the 2 sides together with anti rust paint.. so apart from a mega clean with the Bilt Hamber cleaner or similiar they could do with new bolts or the existing taking out and the anti rust primer getting removed properly.

What are the best bolts to replace with? Are the Stainless ones ok? Or better stick with steel?
I guess I could get the original ones re-zink’d. Any experiences to share?

Also any torque settings for the calliper bolts?, (the 2 halves together), nothing in the Duc manual.

    Cheers.

P.S. Good job Messer, I hope my callipers come up like that!

  13. I used these and torqued to 23- 25nm (the 2 halves)like you say in the manual no clear torque settings:upyeah:.

  18. Blimey, that’s a good price for a set!
I see that the trader offerering these bolts, Powerhouse Automotive, also offer refurb and rebuild services. I should be able to get some new fitting hardware. I am missing a spring plate as it is..

Any recommendations on pads? I guess I had better put some new pads in for my newish discs.
