916 Clutch Slave Cylinder

  1. Thanks. So I am struggling to understand how these grooved piston seals can seal when there is no pressure. They are designed to perform when there is pressure because they get pushed more open and outward by the fluid. If they are not doing this they could leak, right?
     
  2. I'm not familiar with the grooved seals. When I had a leak on my old 900SS I cleaned the bore with fine wet & dry and replaced the knackered seal with an X-ring. This sorted it out. Think I got it from Baines.
     
  3. Personally, I would replace it with an aftermarket one... I have a KBike one and a world of difference... haven't looked back since
