I found out about the VR46 edition M BMW today. Price rumoured to be £146k before any extras. Form an orderly queue - or not.

Maybe his wife finally looked in the garage! He/she did me a massive favour as I managed to buy their Monster 30th Anniversary, looking at the rest of his collection he probably wondered how that one slipped in there!

 

Any real idea why they are all being sold off?

 

Thought the late show one was of Paul birds? Maybe ties in now he’s passed?

 

No idea, I saw the bike advertised at Seatstar and bought it without hesitation.
Don’t get it for another 3 weeks but when I ring up to pay the balance I’ll ask the question.

Sorry if I offend anyone who’s been there, but there was quite a few bikers in full leather Ducati gear hanging out outside the shop at 10am. One of them asked me if I was taking pictures of the yokes when I clearly was, so I said: ya man. Pretty much end of conversation that was. I got in to my car and bailed,

 

You just can't get good houses these days. Wasn't like that when I was young...

 

Birdy never kept bikes, they were generally sold as soon as possible after the last race.

He had an impressive collection of riders helmets though.

 

Seems to have a lot of 2/xxx, are No 1's kept by the factory? He must have Claudio on speed dial.
