Moto Cinelli were the UK importer for Ducati until Ducati UK was established (as you say). It was owned and run by a guy called Hoss Elm, and based in Northants; the Baines brothers John and Geoff used to spanner for them before starting their own company at Silverstone (Baines Racing), which Geoff still runs.
Thanks for raising the option. However, quite a lot of information was provided through Ducati dealer - Pro Twins, with confirmation of the bike data etc. Also, I have asked DMH in Italy to provide any records of the bike that they may still have access to, and they've confirmed that they are looking into it, so we'll see what comes out of that.
