You know when youre braking hard for a corner and just then you notice a dead rainbow, a patch of damp, a puddle, some gavel on road etc and have to release brake early? That is when cornering abs comes into its own. These are the occassions Ive loved it. Prior to this I'd had to use the non existent rear a bit and have the bike sit up a bit and thruppeny bit the corner. Now I know I can trail a tiny bit and be okay.
Definitely worth the cost for road use. You can never know what is in the middle of a blind corner, ie mud, oil, sand, horse poo. Cornering ABS might save your skin one day, a proper corner ABS is analysing much more data compared to a basic ABS.
Yes, with the Ducati it is included and with the Aprilia it is an extra. I think that whichever bike I pick then I will get it.
Possibly mate. Not sure. it still won’t give you the ultimate feel of a non abs bike as the fluid and routing is that much more involved when there’s an abs pump involved Ofcourse. but certainly better
True. Even if you can turn it off then it is still a more complex route between master and slave cylinders!
