749 Crankcase Breather Valve

  1. Notice a small drip following track day yesterday. I know the obvious stuff is fine ie oil level, no split hose etc so what next? Is it common practice to replace the standard valve with something more suited for track use or is there an o ring or similar i should be replacing first? Ive not had the time to investigate as yet but intend to spanner on monday and would like to order parts today if required ahead of another TD next thurs
     
  2. My track 749 has a standard one. Never caused any issues.

  3. ill try replacing the o ring first and then see if i need to go aftermarket but from a uk based vendor
    i had the breather and valve off yesterday all looks fine but the oring is solid
     
  4. Yeah, oil mist on the rear tyre — not good.
