Many moons ago I had a ZZR1100 which developed a fault on one of the gears, in that it simply couldn't be selected. The bike was a few years old, and out of warranty, but had only done about 12k from memory. I called Kawa UK and they provided parts and labour for me as they agreed it shouldn't have happened at that low mileage, and it was an issue they hadn't come across before. The only stipulation was that I couldn't expect an immediate repair, ie the dealer would do it in between jobs as it was basically a FOC job to me. I had the bike back within 4 weeks so not too bad. Don't ask don't get. Stuart
