  5. Quite a lot of mountain bikers on here, ....riding the MTB is one of the things that stops me going crazy during the winter.

This was a ride on the 4th June about 3 years ago, this pic is a place called High Cup Nick, near middleton in teessdale, it was windy as hell, blowing an absolute Hooley when this pic was taken

2 hours later we had to abandon the ride, on the climb up to High Dun Fell we got caught in this snowstorm...on June 4th !!!!!!

Another winter ride up at Captain Cook's monument near Guisborough....mad for going out in it!!!

I like the ideas of Cooking, furniture making, and practicing packing your Kriega !!

I've just got a GoPro Hero 4 silver, so I could spend hours trying to edit that if I could only get out in some decent weather to get some footage in the first place!!

Its this sh1te weather that de motivates me tbh,.... 2 deg C, and grey drizzle,... its like that for weeks up here, doesn't make me feel like getting out of bed and doing anything, my "comfort zone" is between about 14c to 26c

    Keep the suggestions coming Guys!

  8. nice bike the " lefty ",,,,,,,,,, like the other guy, I have so not ridden recently,, used to be out 2 or 3 times a week,, so fkn borin and flat around where I live now,, not worth the effort of cleaning everything ,,and dismantling to put into the back of the TT when it is covered in mud is a real pita !

  9. You could always get one of these...........It's red, Italian and you can ride it every weekend if you want, regardless of the weather!

  11. TTonup, I love the "Lefty", a lot of folks don't get on with them, but I think they are far better than normal telescopic forks.

I used to ride off road an awful lot when I were a lad....

Off road bikes I had were DR 350 Suzuki, WR200 Yam, KTM 250 exc and Gas Gas 250 exc

Started with the TRF and ended up doing Enduro's in the North East England Enduro Championships, packed it all in when the foot and mouth outbreak came along, was that 2001??

The only pic of me off road,....... KTM 250 stinkwheel 2 stroke, Stang forest Enduro near Barnard Castle

Loved it, but it was sooo time consuming,
