After a bit of advice/direction if anyone can help with possible contacts/companies for a custom cowl. I used to have a monster 796, which had a smart seat cowl that covered the pillion section of the “banana” seat. No doubt this was an expensive piece of red plastic but it served a purpose and looked good. For bikes, which don’t have this factory cowl potion are there any companies who could fabricate a similar one off product? (I appreciate it won’t be the cheapest option).
Thinking outloud, having the seat scanned and then a cowl 3D printed shouldn't be too difficult? Otherwise a boatbuilder would be able to do this type of thing.
Sounds sensible, ref the boat builder. With their expertise in fibre glass I am sure they could sort something out and then I get it repainted. I used to have a lotus Elise and the guy who did body work double double up on boats.
