It was epic, honestly I'm a massive fan of the Eifel region surrounding the Nurburgring, I try to go every year and if you've experienced it you'll already know the quality of the roads and the relentless bends, but you know what, I reckon Scotland north of Glasgow gives it a bloody good run for the money, it really really does. I just wish I had longer. I reckon I'm going to have to head back up but with new tyres and no passenger If you've never been then get up there, I can't honestly recommend it enough! As for Cumbria/Lake District it's beautiful, you do get more traffic though but still some really superb stretches of road. Need to order some new tyres..... Oh and the multi didn't blow up
There'll be 40 odd of us heading up there in a months time with Ducati Manchester. We'll be staying in Arrochar and Skye Last years trip was epic
It'll be amazing....unless it rains and then it's down to who's got the tyres to suit In a month you say...........
FFS DAVE...... out of every date it has to be on the 25th. My mrs bday and also the date I'm booked in for an MRI scan on my knee...... Shit damn and piss
Quick few more pics to try and show the grandness of some of the scenery ......more Iron-Bru..... And a big fuck off welly
Very enticing indeed, bit of a Francophile myself but we do often mention Scotland ,just the weather makes us go across, the channel instead. I live in London, however within 10 miles of home nice little used country roads are to be found,it's a question of making an effort to find these things out. But you have got me thinking of a Scottish trip next year.
We do sometimes dismiss the roads in this country without a thought. The best ones just need searching out. Wales is very much the same if you get away from the major routes.
