1200 Decat And Remap

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Dave McLure, Dec 9, 2015.

  1. Have you heard or seen anyone using this db-killer?
I have a termi slip-on as well that I changed to and it sounds awesome but when you hit it hard its just too loud and you really need earplugs if you should drive aggressively.
Such a dilemma, love the deep sound but not the Db :)

  2. DB Killer Termignoni exhaust for Multistrada

  3. The LV "baffle" only fits the OE end can not the Termignoni. I currently have it fitted which is why I'm going to have a different one made. The "race" Termignoni for the Multistrada comes with a proper baffle as standard. Don't know if the LV decat pipework fits though. Andy

  4. ok:)
but did it reduce the noise so you could notice it?

  5. 5%, no more. Current set up is louder than my 853 which has a full race 54mm Termignoni, so in the order of 105db. Andy

  6. Any idea of AKRA or LeoVince CANs would be a good options and to sell the termi slip-on?

  7. The Akrapovic OE end can replacement and Leo Vince end can to match the decat pipe are no longer available for the pre DVT Multistrada although someone on here did recently picked up a second hand LV end can with baffle. Andy

  8. ok, I'll see if I can find a LV second hand then.

I might have missed this but what do you use on your Multistrada?

  9. LV decat pipe work + LV baffle + OE end can + ECU remap. I do have an Akropovic end can which on the LV decat pipe work is way too loud. Looking at having a baffle manufactured for the Akrapovic. Andy
