Did George Galloway lie to Parliament ?

  1. Galloway could have gone far as a career politician but he chose not to and stand by his principles. Yes, he spouts crap at times, but he is rarely wrong, Iraq being a prime example. I read an article about him where he was described as a 90%er. It he is right 90% of the time.
His problem is he is that being prepared
I say what other politicians won't be really does cause offence sometimes.
I think it's interesting who his friends are, eh former London mayor candidate, the Tory Peter Norris.
I used to listen to his radio show on Talk Sport. It was good.
His demolition of the US senate committee I posted is EPIC

  2. Sorry for the typos in the above. Am sure you can work them out

  3. I think you are outvoted 749er. That doesn't make you wrong but in a democracy I hope you realise that you are obliged to go along with the rest of us who think Galloway is an opportunistic twat

I wouldn't say it to his face though, as he is a bit of a pugilist

  4. Galloway's only principle is consistently supporting murderous fascist dictators and oppressive totalitarian regimes whenever he can. He has stuck to that through thick and thin. Any one who assumes he is stupid is in for a shock - he's not stupid, he's malignant.

  5. What I find about Galloway is that he gets the first part right - ie the criticism of the status quo - generally the Americans. And then he gets the next bit wrong - thinking that anyone who is anti-American is his friend, no matter how hideous they are.

In my world view, the Americans are mainly wrong, and so are the Beardies and dictators.

  6. I'm so tired of politicians I'm really past caring if he lied or not.

  10. I disagree with much of what Galoway says and am 100% with 1950 Pete and his descriptions. He is however a quite brilliant speaker and debater, very capable of persuading some that black is white etc. A dangerous narcissist but quite capable of telling the truth when it suits him.

  11. Amended for you.

  12. Very clever Mr 1950. But the latter is debatable while I think the former is not!
