I've relented! I phoned up The Times because they won't let you cancel by email - it's free to phone. Spoke to a helpful chap who didn't really try to persuade me not to cancel (I expected the hard sell) but explained (in words of one syllable that I could understand) what was going on. As I quite happy with the journalism, I decided not to cancel. Must keep my temper!!! Now back to choosing bikes for which never ever causes me to get annoyed.
I recently had a moment of, "why am I paying 26 a month for this garbage?". I tried to cancel my subscription and was offered a "don't leave us...you can pay 4 quid a month to stay". I stayed.
