Both ours are non malting quite thick coats when fully grown in (like when dog groomers refuse to do them cause of a big flu like virus!!) so we use Johnsons baby shampoo on them. Best stuff we've ever used ..

Dilute it 50/50 with water first. It works better and lasts longer
