Parked up at a bike meet tonight on grass. Lost my footing and the bike fell onto its right hand side. Fortunately the only damage was a bent front brake lever and a cracked carbon winglet. No other damage miraculously. Does anyone know if you can buy the winglets individually or only as a pair. Brake lever is pennies by comparison. Very peed off and slightly embarrassed. Second time in 45 years of riding, so i guess it's just one of those things.

Some time ago I parked outside my local hein gericke by riding up the kerb ramp and parked on the pavement, no drama. Come time to leave I rode the bike off said pavement via the kerb not realising it was a 12-14 inch drop. Yep, my legs didn't extend the required 12-14 inches, and over it went, what a dickhead. The kicker tho, there was a huge traffic cone in the gutter (waist height) and the bike landed full square on it. Not a scratch of damage, nothing, apart from dented pride and ridicule quite rightly from the hein gericke staff who were laughing like drains as they helped me pick the bike up. What a knob.
