Dropped My Bike! Argggh!

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Topolino, Jul 14, 2026.

  1. So my winglet has finally arrived from Australia. Guy that sold it to me runs his own YouTube channel (OneLdesign) and he has rebuilt (on a fairly tight budget) a few crashed Dukes. Next stop is the paint shop to get it sanded back and clear coated along with the clutch cover. Front brake master cylinder lever should be here in a day or two. MCS levers require a bit more work to dissect before you can fit them due to the need to swap over the remote adjuster mechanism and the variable ratio cam, but pretty sure I will figure it out. Mostly a case of removing the internal pivot bushing/sleeve to access and remove the cam and spring and e-clip, then you can remove it as well as the remote adjuster to free up the old lever and get rid. Then it's a reversal of the process. A fiddly job but no other way around it.
