  1. Per mile most do, but then they live far closer to the limit more often.

  2. True. My track bike has had a lot of attention. Hmmm....

  4. If you're concerned about future values I think the S Model (or the SP if you like the looks) is the one to go for. The only "rider aid" is TC and it can be turned off! People will, I suspect, want the Ohlins (even if the Showas are probably just as good).

Just my 2p worth, and I might be biased...

  6. Me personally, I don't think this shape looks good in black. The 999 though.....:upyeah:

  8. The black SP looks good in black when it’s wearing one of these.....

  11. I saw the 1198 at jhp yesterday bloody nice Bike!!

  12. Went to take a look at a RSV4 today out of interest. Really nice but didn’t quite do it for me.

Anyone had any experience owning one?

  13. What happened with the hunt for an 1198?

  14. Still on! Torn between a couple of choices outside of a 1198.

  15. Glad to hear it! Don't rush the 1198 purchase, the right bike is worth waiting for and you'll know when you find it. Good one's that aren't priced stupidly will get snapped up quickly though so make sure you're on your toes and ready to pounce when it does come along ;)

  16. Thinking of selling my 1198S if you still looking.
    Sent you a message.

  17. I've just had mine refreshed for sale. It's a no expense spared one-off NCR 1198s, with carbon wheels, all nuts and bolts in the unsprung areas are titanium, re-sprung to match lower weight and solo riding. Short Termis, slipper clutch etc.
Haven't taken photos to advertise yet due to the weather, but have attached an older one to give you an idea. Let me know if you'd like to come and see it. IMG_20140529_094801.jpg
