I’m looking at selling my 851. It’s a 1992 import (California I believe) and I purchased it in March 2016. For most of its time with me it’s been an ornament in the dining room with very occasional spells when I’ve put it on the road. Because of this lack of use I haven’t attempted to run it as I know the belts are overdue a change and would hate to see one let go at this stage. It has a non standard exhaust and tail unit fitted, although I have part of the original tail unit which will be supplied with the bike. The battery shown in the image was disconnected but remained on the bike and seems to be dead. V5 in my name. I’m trying to upload photos but struggling at the moment! Any queries please ask! £5250.
I wish you luck Ian, only my opinion, but very strong price considering what you've added in your text. You really need to show it running, or all the vultures will dive in.
I’m working on the logic that the ones currently on eBay are around the £8k figure. To my mind a decent service and someone has a decent bike for a decent price - that’s my logic….
