999 Ducati 999 Slipper Clutch

Ive done the lithium mod using the oven. My advice is make sure wifey is away for the weekend, open all the windows, put some tin foil at bottom of oven.

Tip, get loads of bacon and live on bacon butties all weekend to mask the smell. Then wifey is none the wiser.

Smooths the action and stops the graunching noise that may or may not occur during disengaging to pull away. But it does smoke. A lot. When baking it. Really. A lot.

 

I've just sprayed a coat on the friction surfaces, let it sit for a minute and wipe off. Done.

 

I covered the damned things, left overnight, wiped off excess and consequently let off a smoke bomb in my house.

 

must have been an awesome fart to mask that smell

 

Bacon is your friend. Esp if, like me, you like it crispy.

 

Will this be ok? Nothing seems to be labelled stating it doesn't contain friction modifiers?
