Hi All Just joined the forum, some interesting stuff going on and nice to be a part of it. After a couple of decades of bike ownership bought my first Ducati, not sure why it took so long. Hoping to take it for a run over the TT mountain in June but probably a tenth of the speed of Mr Rutter! questions, I have a couple of bikes now and a multi bike policy with Carole Nash, every time I add a bike I feel like they are doing me a favour! renewal is up in May, anyone had good experiences with other multi bike insurers. Also want to do some track days but concerned about decibel limits on U.K. tracks does anyone know most lenient ones.....
Welcome GBGB. What Duc is it? Looks like a Pain of some description from the Avatar, assuming that's it. We like pics, lots of them, so post away, and enjoy the Forum. ps. Sorry, can't help with the insurance issue, multi-bike insurance doesn't exist in Ireland.
Hello and welcome dude.. Ducati insurance were really good for a few years but have recently changed underwriters or something and now suck arse.. Someone suggested Bemoto for multi bike but I've yet to check em out...
Thanks for that and thanks for the warm welcome. Will give Bemoto a call, I watched a 44 Teeth video with BVG interviewing bloke from Bemoto, seemed a sensible outfit. It’s the V4 Speciale, it’s a long story but got caught in a cat 5 hurricane 2017 lost all our stuff, a year later got the insurance money and thought what the hell you only live once! Fortunately my Mrs loves bikes too. We tour on our ‘09 1050 Tiger, an altered XSR Abarth for the country lanes and a ‘77 RV 50 to pop to the corner shop.
Yep it has the full race Akra fitted just concerned with decibel limits on track days. Evo Tech tail tidy, Evo tech rad guard and under seat guard. I’d like to take the mirrors off and just have bar end, but the dealer says he hasn’t found a decent indicator replacement, has anyone changed theirs out? I’m not sure what bins pics are.....
