They are identical - TWM made them for Ducati and just put the branding on - the BDS ones are just the same - made by TWM. That official Ducati branding carries a hefty price premium! I had a Skoda Superb Mk2 Laurin & Klement Estate as my previous car. So well built and well specced that Skoda lost money on every sale. I bought it because it had won so many awards and was the sensible choice. Picking people up in it often went without comment until they got in the back - from the outside it was fairly nondescript. But one someone settled into the stretch limo like heated rear seats and experienced the bright and airy luxurious feeling of pale leather, tinted windows and gigantic pan roof - they invariably asked what car it was in an impressed tone. But I always felt the need to defend my choice of car - to list the specifications and how much more it would cost to get the same spec in an Audi…… ……..I currently drive an Audi A6 Avant - it cost a lot more - it doesn’t have some of the extras the Skoda had - but I never feel the need to explain my choice - and the ‘nice car’ comments come at first sight! See can’t fight it even when you desperately want to!
I get exactly what you mean, but those damn marketers know what they are doing and the branding is desirable…Its tough to bypass!
